Discover Custom Cruises and Outdoor Adventures! The shoulder season presents an ideal opportunity to plan a personalized cruise, with departure times tailored to fit your schedule. Explore the Outer Islands: Spending a day hiking on one of the outer islands is a fantastic way to enjoy nature. For example, the hike to the Stuart Island lighthouse at Turn Point begins at Reid Harbor. Bring along a knapsack and lunch, and take some time to appreciate the lighthouse, along with the museum and presentations at our newest national monument site. Additional Services: We also offer water taxi services for camping on other islands, as well as kayak drop-offs. Prices will vary based on time and distance, so feel free to call us for further details and to make a reservation. Memorial Cruises: We are here to assist with Memorial Cruises in honor of loved ones who have passed away. These special cruises can be scheduled outside of our regular trips, with pricing depending on the destination and duration on the water.
Cancellation Policy
To cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. In case of inclement weather, we will contact you to cancel or reschedule your cruise. PLEASE NOTE: Many visitors are eager to spot whales while in the area. Friday Harbor Cruises is a sightseeing company that will make every effort to visit whale locations and adhere to all guidelines if whales are present. However, please note that Friday Harbor Cruises cannot guarantee whale sightings due to the vast territory that whales can cover in a single day. Even if we don’t encounter whales, we will still observe a variety of other wildlife and enjoy a wonderful experience on the water. The stunning scenery surrounding the San Juan Islands has repeatedly been recognized as some of the most beautiful in the world.
